In Shadows and Light in Ming Harmony, I sought to capture a quiet tension between depth and radiance. The indigo blue of the ceramic vessel, anchored in darkness, holds the warm ember glow of yellow forsythia, as if caught in a moment between shadow and illumination. This stillness feels charged—with a subtle pulse beneath still surfaces, where form and color converse in whispered contrasts. The vase becomes more than object; it’s a vessel of memory and light, inviting a closer look at what lies just beyond visibility, in the subtle dance between presence and absence.
